How I discovered the Higher Self

Soon after I left my banking job to pursue a spiritual life, I found myself listening to channeled messages. They were messages from Kryon channeled by Mr. Lee Carrol that resonated with me the most during my early stage of awakening. That was 15 years ago. And all of Kryon’s messages at that time made reference to the term Higher Self.

Today I want to share with you about our Higher Self. First, I want to share my experience of discovering who my Higher Self is when I first came across this term when listening to Kryon’s channeled messages. Second, let me share with you the first message my Higher Self had for me. Third, I want to let you know why it’s so important for each of us to connect and commune with our Higher Self.

As I mentioned earlier, Kryon’s channeled messages made reference to the Higher Self over and over again. I had no clue who the Higher Self was at that time. So I kept asking myself, “Who is the Higher Self. Who is the Higher Self?” I wondered often, each day.

Then one night as I was preparing for bed, that question popped into my head again. And as my head touched my pillow, I received the answer. I whispered to myself, “I know. My Higher Self is my Soul, Spirit.” Immediately, a bolt of lightning struck in the middle of my bedroom. This was followed by a clap of thunder. Just once. And the odd thing was I didn’t even flinch. Instead, I smiled quietly because I remember from reading channeled messages that when a human has an epiphany i.e. an AHA moment, the angels and guides celebrate. They were basically exclaiming, “She got it! By Jove, she’s got it!” The thunder clap and lightning bolt was a high-five from my angels and guides. At least that’s how I perceived the thunder and lightning. I had a beautiful sleep that night.

And soon after that incident, I gave intent:

“I reach up and take the hand of Spirit, and never let go.”
That was my permission to my Higher Self to walk with me by my side, and to guide me, for the rest of my journey. That was my experience.

When I first began meditating as part of my spiritual practice, I would connect and commune with the higher collective consciousness of humanity. This is the collective voice of the Higher Selves of humans on the planet. The messages are always loving, inspiring, encouraging, and full of wisdom. But I realise that communing with my own Higher Self is more important for my personal evolution.

My Higher Self's first message to me was to love myself unconditionally, as much as God loves me. If this resonates with you, I hope you will too.

“Why is it important to connect with our Higher Self?” I’ve been asked this question so many times. And here is my answer.

Connecting with your Higher self is the first step. What is more important is to begin communing with your Higher self. Your Higher Self is the higher vibrating part of you and has direct access to the Creator. Your Higher Self has lived all your lifetimes throughout the multi-verse, including this planet. And it knows everything about you, your strengths and weaknesses, the life lessons and Soul Contracts you are here to learn and experience in this lifetime. And it provides you with the highest guidance, only if you ask.

Imagine if you will, your Higher Self standing at the top of the mountain and has the vantage point and can see everything that’s going on in your life and knows how things will turn out with every choice that you make. And your Higher Self does not infringe upon your free will. It will only answer you if and when you ask.

Know this, your Higher Self is connected to all the Higher Selves of the human collectively. They are all connected and are actively collaborating. Where do you think synchronicities come from?

If you make your relationship with your Higher Self your top priority, and you deliberately choose thoughts that allow your alignment, you will consistently offer the greatest advantage to everyone you interact with. They will see a calm, peaceful, joyful, and wise human. This is how you will positively influence humanity and raise the vibration for the collective, and the Universe.

These are the 3 things that I share with you today. And there is one last thing I want you to know. I was guided to create workshops relating to communing with your Higher Self and channeling the Higher Collective Consciousness of Humanity.
